Whilst we’re contemplating how to moderate our excess at Christmas parties and cut down on our mince pie intake, Guy Martin has set himself a challenge to earn a few pigs in blankets over the festive period. He plans to break the world speed record for cycling around the coast of Britain, a distance of 4802 miles, which he’s hoping to cycle in less than 21 days.
He hopes to cycle around 250 miles a day, a massive challenge at any time of year, but as if this wasn’t enough, he’s chosen December and hopes to finish just before Christmas day! The following video gives some more detail about the challenge:
Wish him luck!
Whilst we can’t guarantee to offer the round-Britain on a bike anytime soon (and certainly not in 21 days!), we do have a range of other challenges available. Please visit www.moreadventure.co.uk/adventures/ for inspiration for 2017…
